Thursday 28th Nov till Saturday 30th November from 9am – 5pm

We are back in  Tesco Superstore Atherton and Tesco Leigh Extra from 9 am – 5 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, where our amazing volunteers will be ready and waiting to accept donations of food, toiletries and cash from the generous Tesco shoppers.
The winter food collection is vital to our efforts to help people facing hardship on the run up to Christmas, so anything you can spare will help.

When you enter your local store you will be presented with a shopping list of our Most Wanted items, and all we ask, if you can afford to, please add 1 or 2 extra bits to your shopping then hand them to our volunteers as you leave the store. Alternatively you can simply drop cash in our donation tubs as you pass them, or scan the QR codes on our tables to donate online.

At a time when we are all facing unprecedented rises in the cost of living and energy  we know it is a lot to ask for you to spend extra, but there are people who simply cant afford to eat at all, and by adding 1 item costing as little as 50p to your shopping you will make a big difference that will give so many people hope, by helping put food in their families belly, and will boost our stock just before the big Christmas rush.

We simply can’t do what we do without the amazing support of the people in our community and we just know you will step up and give us the mandate we need to continue our work, supporting local people in food poverty.
