Local support agencies, did you know we have a member of staff that is dedicated to working with local agencies and organisations, to try and ensure we recruit as many as possible to give us the best chance of reaching people that need support from the foodbank?

Helen is responsible for working directly with our voucher holders, as well as finding and adding more agencies to the pool. This will hopefully give agencies a faster way to contact us to ask questions, solve any problems, or sign up to be a voucher holder.
Helen will also be responsible for training all existing and new voucher holders, to ensure we are all working the same way and to the same system, to make sure we can reach as many people facing hardship as possible.

If you do not hold our vouchers but feel you meet or support people on a regular basis, that would benefit from a referral to the foodbank, please do get in touch. We have many and varied voucher holders, from Schools, health visitors/midwives and Doctors surgeries, to mental health teams, Citizens Advice, Wigan council and many more within the Areas we cover
If you’re an existing voucher holder that no longer wishes to refer people, please contact Helen and we can take you off our register.
