We never get fed up of saying this – Our community is amazing!
We are so blessed to operate in a place where people are kind, thoughtful and very generous. We could not feed close to the number of people in crisis that we do without the generosity of the public and businesses that donate to us and it never fails to amaze us just how generous you are.
The latest business to bless us, and whom we have to say a huge thankyou, to is Laltex Group of Leigh. We have been getting along well with them for a while now and we are sure it is the start of a great relationship.
Because every item of food we get is donated, we have no control over what we get so it often leaves us with shortfalls in certain areas. This is not too much of a problem but we do prefer to give out a good mix of the basics plus a few treats for people who are having a tough time and need our help.
When Laltex Group approached and asked if we needed any help with things we were short of we really did not expect they would take us straight to Tesco to fill the gaps with a huge donation!
Everyone at the foodbank would like to say a massive thankyou for your amazing generosity, We are so blessed and very thankful that you care so much about your community and we want to assure you that you have made a huge difference to local people in need. We could not do it without people like you and businesses like yours.
