Sainsbury’s food drive “Nourish The Nation”

On Saturday 26th July we will be in Sainsbury’s Leigh, as part of their Nourish the Nation campaign, collecting donations from the very generous shoppers in the Parsonage retail park store.

Our volunteers will be manning the tables from 9am till 5pm and we’re sure they will be kept very busy, as they usually are whenever we do a collection in Sainsbury’s.

Nourish The Nation is Sainsbury’s campaign to help local charities and food banks collect food to distribute to local people and thanks to our relationship with Neighbourly, we are very lucky to be part of that campaign.

We know Sainsbury’s shoppers well, so know you are always ready to do your bit.

Please take a leaflet from one of our very friendly volunteers, as you enter the store, then add one or two items from our list to yours and drop them off with our just as friendly volunteers, manning the table in the store entrance. Every single item you donate will be used to benefit local people facing hardships with food poverty as a result.

Together we are stronger, together we can end hunger in our community.
