Much more than our name
Yes, we are called Atherton & Leigh foodbank, and we did start out providing emergency food in the Atherton, Leigh and close by areas, but as the need has grown, so has our reach.
We now provide support for people in crisis from Mosley Common to Spring View and all the towns and villages in between, including Tyldesley, Astley, Atherton, Leigh, Hindley, Abram, Platt Bridge, Lowton and Golborne.
We have Foodbank centres In Atherton, Leigh and Platt Bridge, open on various days, so hopefully there is one to suit you. Tap for Locations & opening times
We cover most parts of WN2, WN3, WN7, M29, M46 & WA3 but unfortunately we cannot help outside of these postcode areas, sorry.
We are extremely blessed to be supported by the people and businesses in all areas we cover, with donations of food, toiletries, cash plus other things we need to run well, and we use those donations for the benefit of people that live locally to our generous supporters.
