The Tesco winter food collection is back
We love this collection, every year in both Tesco superstore Atherton and Tesco Extra Leigh, because it provides so much food, toiletries and money so we can help as many people as possible over Christmas and beyond.
The wonderful Tesco shoppers are just about getting in the festive spirit and it really shows, with a fervent atmosphere around both stores. They also dig deep to provide the best possible Christmas for local people that are struggling.
Our amazing volunteers will be in both stores on Thursday 30th from 9am till 5pm and again as we tip in to December on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd.
We know it’s a cost of living crisis and we know lots of people don’t have much spare, so please don’t feel you have to, but if you do have as little as 50p please do consider buying an item off our Most wanted list and hand it to our volunteers or place it on the table.
