It’s almost our busiest time of the year and Tesco know this, which is why they have their winter food collection at this time of year.
‘This year it will be even more important as we have never been busier and expect Christmas to be a very very busy time.
So what can you do to help? Apart from the obvious, donate food, toiletries or money, we need people to help us man the stall in both Tesco Superstore Atherton and Tesco Extra Leigh, on 1st, 2nd & 3rd of December, to hand out shopping list, collect the donations and help is sort them in to boxes or you can sit with a collection bucket for cash donations. All we ask is a minimum of 2 hours on either day or, if you want, you can do every day or more than 2 hours, the choice is yours but we would love to see you there and it will be doing a huge turn to both us and your local community.
