When Sean was sadly knocked off his bike, in April, not only did he end up spending time in hospital and off school for a while, his bike was also damaged beyond repair. His friends at Atherton Collieries AFC and his family, who run, Atherton T-Shirt Printing, decided he needed a new one, so they set about raising the money, via a collection, and people were so generous they ended up with far more than they needed.
Sean was quite overwhelmed by the way his community had rallied round to help him but rather than go for a more expensive bike Sean decided he would go shopping for food, with left over funds, to donate to the foodbank, so he could give back to that community.
Absolutely outstanding work Sean!
Thankyou for being so kind hearted and thankyou to your family and friends, and everyone that donated to your bike fund. Well done everyone, your efforts will help local people that are suffering a crisis, as Sean did.
