It’s been a long time since our last instore collection so imagine how excited we are to tell you . . .
Supermarket collections are back!
We will be in both Tesco Atherton superstore and Tesco Leigh Extra , as part of Tesco’s 3 day #EveryCanHelps food collection event, On Thursday 15th, Friday 16th and Saturday 17th and we would love to see you there!
We will have our wonderful volunteers ready and waiting, to collect donations from the always generous Tesco shoppers, and we simply can not wait to see you all once again.
As much as we have been blessed by the whole community, that has rallied round and regularly filled the instore baskets, there is nothing quite like seeing you face to face and making sure you know just how thankful we are to each and every one of you that donate. Even if you only give 1 item you are making a real difference to local people and that means everything to us and them.
When you enter the store you will see a list, printed on posters and stuck to our tables, with our most needed items on and all we ask is, if you can, please buy just 1 or 2 items off the list and drop them on our table, which will be set up close to the entrance in each store. Our amazing volunteers will then sort them and make sure they are ready to help feed people in crisis in your community. We then tally up and let Tesco know just how generous their amazing customers have been and they dig deep to top up your donations by a massive 20%, which is huge!
